Many other products say, "To properly disinfect - which is defined as killing 100% of
pathogens on hard surfaces - the treated surface must remain wet for 10 minutes. For
heavily soiled areas, a preliminary cleaning is required. Apply solution only to hard,
inanimate, non-porous surfaces. Thoroughly wet surfaces as required, with a cloth,
brush, mop, sponge or mechanical spray device. Allow surfaces to remain wet for 10
minutes. If surface dries before 10 minutes, reapply to ensure 10 minutes of liquid on
surface. Allow to air dry or wipe up excess liquid after 10 minutes. Prepare a fresh
solution at least daily or when use solution becomes visibly dirty. There is no residual,
thus re-application is necessary if areas are to be disinfected due to possible new
infection."
